Visiting FAQs

- Can I take photos and video?
- Yes, please feel free, film and selfie all you like ! There is even an interactive selfie station in the tunnel !
- Do I need tickets or to book ?
- No, if anyone tries to sell you tickets it is a scam ! Just turn up, shows start on the hour promptly and are completely FREE.
- Are you collecting for charity?
- Yes, this Christmas we are taking donation for the Newton Flotman Village Centre, for play equipment and youth facilities. There is a collection podium at the end of the tunnel.
- When is Grove Lights ?
- Opening night 6pm Saturday 29th November 2025
- Shows are daily at 6pm from 29th November to 1st January. There is a 5pm show on Christmas Eve
- Is there any food and drink available ?
- Only on opening night 29th Nov ,Destiny’s Dough Streetfood Van will be providing Giant Hot Dogs, Burgers and refreshments
- Is there disabled access ?
- Yes, there are long dropped kerbs allowing wheelchair access to watch the show and go inside the tunnel of lights.
- Where is Grovelights?
- We are in Newton Flotman on the A140, 10 mins from Norwich ( 25 mins from Diss ) Postcode NR15 1QE
- Directions: From the A140 turn next to the Church onto Church road (follow signs for village hall)
- At the top of the hill, turn left onto Grove Way ( again following signs to village hall )
- We are on the left( really can’t miss it !!)
- Where is Parking ?
- If you continue at the end of Grove Way you will find the village hall car park with plenty of room. ( Note the village hall is 5 mins walk from Grovelights so allow time)
- There is also plenty of parking further along Grove Way. Please do not park directly outside the house to allow all to view.
- There are no streetlights so do bring a torch and take care on the road.
- Please do NOT park on Church Road as it will cause congestion!
- Lastly, Please be courteous and considerate of my neighbours when arriving and leaving from Grovelights. It is their support that allows this show to take place. Particular thanks to my immediate neighbours, Jackie, Bill and Jilly.
